Teya Salat


It is the first stage of the KAS exam. It is of qualifying nature only and the marks scored in it will not be counted to determine the final merit.

The examination will consist of two objective type papers:

1. Paper I ‐ General Studies (150 marks)

2. Paper II - One subject to be selected from the given list of optional subjects (300 marks)
Total 450 marks .

List of optional subjects:

2. Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
3. Botany
4. Chemistry
5. Civil Engineering
6. Commerce
7. Economics
8. Electrical Engineering
9. Geography
10. Geology
11. Indian History
12. Law
13. Mathematics
14. Mechanical Engineering
15. Philosophy
16. Physics
17. Political Science
18. Psychology
19. Public Administration
20. Sociology
21. Statistics
22. Zoology

Note:

(i) Both the question papers will be of objective type (multiple choice question).

(ii) The question papers will be set in English.

(iii) The course content of the syllabi for the optional subjects will be of the degree level.
(iv) Each paper will be of two hours duration.
